We build and manage state licensing, Broker staffing, MLS data, and the regulatory work that continues after launch. Not a vendor. Not a consultant. We own the work.

A license is only one piece of a working brokerage operation. Each market also needs the right Broker, the right MLS memberships, data access, and a team accountable for the obligations that continue after launch. BrokerZoo builds and runs those connected functions as an extension of your team.
We map requirements, coordinate the pre-license work, and manage applications and renewals across your active markets. Pre-licensing is the most demanding phase and the most prone to delay, so we sequence it before license applications are submitted. Expansion starts with a plan, not a stack of filings.
We place qualified Brokers-of-Record under formal agreements and manage the relationship over time. Roughly half of all states limit a Broker to supervising one firm, so the right candidate comes through relationships, not job postings. Succession is planned before a change puts the operation under pressure.
MLS access brings its own applications, approvals, dues, agreements, and rules. A Broker transition can require memberships and data agreements in affected markets to be revisited. We manage those moving parts across all markets.
Licensing requires continued attention after launch. We manage continuing education, renewals, reporting, and agency correspondence. We also maintain obligations and records, so the operation is prepared when investors, acquirers, or regulators review it.
A license can be approved while the operation behind it remains fragile. Broker relationships, renewals, MLS memberships, data agreements, and agency correspondence all run on different timelines. When the knowledge sits with a few individuals, a departure or missed handoff can expose gaps no one knew were there.
Those gaps rarely surface on their own schedule. They appear during investor diligence, an acquisition review, or a regulatory audit, when the time to fix them is shortest.
BrokerZoo builds the structure around the work and stays to manage it. We connect requirements across markets, put Broker relationships in writing, track continuing obligations, and plan for changes before they disrupt the operation. That is what lets a company absorb a Broker transition, add markets within an existing framework, and go into diligence prepared. We work behind your brand as an extension of your team, and in select cases, as invested partners in your growth.
Five featured verticals. Five distinct complexity profiles. One outcome: infrastructure that held. BrokerZoo engagements are generally subject to confidentiality. Select references are available upon request.
A PE-backed real estate technology company needed national licensing and direct data access across hundreds of markets simultaneously. We worked state by state, coordinated with agencies and Brokers, and facilitated data licensing agreements across more than 200 markets. Six months from start: a fully staffed, licensed, data-first brokerage operating nationally.
A fast-scaling fractional ownership company needed to enter 100 markets in 100 days. Licensing, Broker staffing, data agreements, and data standardization all ran concurrently. We didn't meet the deadline. We beat it.
A national consumer lender needed a fully licensed brokerage while building internal teams across multiple markets. We managed licensing, infrastructure, and vendor coordination throughout, and delivered a clean, fully operational brokerage when they were ready to take it over.
A home equity investment platform faced licensing requirements spanning multiple regulatory frameworks. Working alongside their counsel, we structured and maintained brokerage infrastructure across jurisdictions, keeping them in good standing through every stage of growth.
A landlord services platform acquired a growing property management company whose policies, procedures, and compliance practices varied by market. We began with one trial market. From there, the work grew into a multistate engagement, where we centralized requirements, standardized practices, and created a consistent framework for the combined operation.
One state or fifty. A first license or a national buildout. Tell us where you operate today, what your brokerage operation looks like now, and where and when you need to expand.
Every engagement starts with a conversation about your markets, current structure, and timeline. From there, we define the work and deliver a formal proposal.
